News
Mechanical street sweeping takes place in September, December, March and June. The even side is swept on the 2nd Wednesday ... the odd side on the 4th Wednesday. More cooperation with residents moving vehicles would make the area cleaner.

The next meeting is to be on Tues., May 12th, 2009 at the Myerberg Senior Citizens' Center at 7:30PM.

About Us
The Cross Country Improvement Association (CCIA) is among the oldest neighborhood associations in Baltimore. Our members work together to make the Cross Country community one of the most attractive, livable and safe areas of the city. Whether you are thinking about a move, are new to the area or have been here for years, we are here for you.
The Cross Country neighborhood has many types of homes in all price ranges

Our services include providing assistance and information on buying or renting a home, acting as a voice for neighborhood residents in city hall, and finding ways to maximize our quality of life.

The CCIA has played a major role in ensuring that our community receives the city services we need, particularly in the realms of traffic, sanitation, street maintenence and safety. We also work with residents to ensure their building plans conform with the character of the neighborhood and help them with zoning issues.

Our greatest resource is our members, who share their ideas and energy with their neighbors to accomplish much more than any of us could do on our own. Membership is open to all area residents and is only $10 a year.

We also work closely with Comprehensive Housing Assistance Inc. (CHAI) to assist new or perspective residents in finding affordable housing in the area, including information about grants and loans for down payments and improvements.
